2024 MVPS Winter Classic
The 2024 MVPS Winter Classic delivered an exhilarating start to the season, blending intense competition with challenging weather conditions, including temperatures in the low 60s and intermittent rainstorms. 
The event showcased a mix of returning teams and fresh faces, particularly in division 6, continuing the sport’s ongoing growth and appeal to players of all ages. Among the 16 Division 6 teams, Ragtag Alpha emerged as the standout performers, going undefeated in preliminaries and losing only a single point throughout the event to secure a dominant first-place finish. In division 5 X-Ball, nineteen teams competed fiercely in the season's opening event. The preliminaries revealed a high level of preparation, with many teams excelling—eight of the top teams dropped only one match, while some remained undefeated. Ultimately, TPP Fury secured victory in a tightly contested final against Trigger City. In Division 4 X-Ball, an impressive 35 teams took to the field, showcasing the depth of competition this season. The preliminaries were particularly challenging, with many brackets demonstrating the parity among competitors. Ultimately, the finals featured Dynamic and Damage Control in a closely fought, low-scoring match. Dynamic emerged victorious with a narrow 2-1 win, solidifying their place at the top in a highly competitive division. In Division 3 X-Ball, 20 elite teams competed at the highest level of the Maximum Velocity Paintball Series. The division showcased the narrowing gap in skill at the top, with preliminary games proving especially challenging. The finals featured Shenanigans Gold facing off against Fokai in an exceptionally slow and tactical match. In the end, Shenanigans Gold secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory, earning the title of 2024 MVPS Winter Classic champions.
